50-YEAR TRAJECTORY
Clichetec Embalagens was founded on April 4, 1972, to manufacture clichés for the letterpress printing system. It was the TEChnique of producing CLICHÊ—hence Clichetec. Five years later, it became a conventional printing company, already operating offset presses. In the 1990s, it transitioned to a printing press and produced hundreds of books, newspapers, and magazines. At the same time, the carton packaging segment was introduced, subsequently evolving into this exclusive market niche. Currently, its printing facilities are among the most modern in the country.
Given that the cliché is practically extinct, it is a name that is difficult to spell in the virtual world and unknown to new generations, Clichetec migrated in 2017 to a new name: APOLO EMBALAGENS.
